Kidsinger JimKSJ Columbia Mall

When performing solo, Jim sings and plays guitar along with pre-recorded tracks from his studio recordings. Utilizing wireless gear, Jim enjoys roaming and interacting with the entire audience. He can easily tailor his show to different age groups. Kidsinger Jim's solo performance is suitable for preschools, elementary schools, libraries, shopping malls, family concerts, etc. His program is approved by and is listed in the Maryland State Arts Council Arts-in-Education Artist Roster.

"My three children and I have enjoyed watching Jim and listening to his music since moving to Maryland in 2000. My 2-year-old son walks around our apartment with his toy guitar and cowboy hat singing Jim's songs. He just can't wait to see the "singing man,"Kidsinger Jim!" - The Pugh Family

Kidsinger Jim & Guitar Greg

Greg and Jim with hoopsKidsinger Jim began performing with Greg May in early 2007 after meeting Greg on the mall show circuit. When Jim found out that this former Ringling Bros. clown was also a musician, he suggested they try a collaboration. The result is a unique blend of fine musicianship with comedy, audience participation, amazing circus skills, juggling, and more! In early 2008, Jim and Greg recorded a music video of Jim's "Eat Your Veggies" song for Comcast. Their duo act has appeared at venues such as the Reston Festival, City of Gaithersburg Pavilion, Delmarva Chicken Festival, and Frostburg State University.

"Thank you for providing entertainment during Homecoming 2007. You have developed such a unique way of communicating with little ones and it's no surprise that you are two of the top performers on the East Coast." - Shannon Gribble, Office of Alumni Programs, Frostburg State University.

Nick and Greg juggle around spinners

Jim launched his ensemble group in March of 2008. Our newest show,"Zoo In My Room," utilizes a barn set with door, window, and hayloft openings for our barnyard animal puppets. The show features sing-along songs, puppetry, positive themes, comedy skits, and if the venue has a dance floor, a hoe-down dance party! The show can be performed by a cast of two, three, or four children's performers. Depending on the venue, the audience size, and the number of cast members, we can utilize our 12' x 12' barn set (as seen to the right) or an 8' x 8' set. We can also provide a stage if the venue does not have one. It's a wholesome show for the whole family!

"The entertainers’ affection for their young fans was apparent in their personal interactions with the children after the show. Little ones couldn’t contain their curiosity about the stilts, wanted to see the puppets, or press an accordion key. Kidsinger Jim and Friends got down to eye level, listening and answering questions with sincerity." - excerpt from a review of the show written by Ann Evankovich.
